Co-op Cardlock Facility – Pilot Butte Interchange (Hwy 1)

This impressive development features:

  • A modern Cardlock and Petroleum Facility
  • Administration sales offices & warehouse under one roof
  • A truckers’ lounge with showers, laundry, vending machines, and parking

Beyond expanding fuel and retail services for the east end of Regina and the communities of White City, Emerald Park, and Pilot Butte, this project consolidates Co-op’s fuel services sales team into one streamlined, modern space.

At Bright Communities, we’re proud to have played a key role in bringing this project to life through:

  • Full design oversight & project management
  • Guidance through municipal approvals (development & building permits)
  • Construction coordination & resolution of complex legal matters

One of the most nuanced aspects involved negotiating cost share agreements and shared access easements with the Deer Run Business Park developer, Tell Properties Ltd.

Ecole Wilfred Walker School Inclusive Playground (Regina, SK)

We’ve been proud to volunteer our time pro bono on three inclusive playground projects across Regina. One of these, at École Wilfrid Walker School. What makes this playground especially meaningful is that it is designed to meet the City of Regina’s 2025 accessibility standards, which require 75% accessible play features for a destination playground. Through thoughtful design, 88% of the play elements at Wilfrid Walker will be fully accessible to children with mobility devices or visual impairments.

This project, and others we’re supporting, reflect our mission at Bright Communities: to help connect people, places, and generations by building lasting communities where bright futures grow.

Gardiner Park Daycare (Regina, SK)

We were proud to volunteer our time and expertise to help guide the design and construction of a brand-new accessible playground for Gardiner Park Daycare at the corner of University Park Drive and Truesdale. The playground includes a fully poured-in-place rubberized surface, designed so every child can play safely, freely, and together.

A heartfelt congratulations to the Daycare Directors and the Board of Directors of Gardiner Park Day-Care Inc. for their leadership, perseverance, and vision in turning this dream into reality for families in East Regina.
